ELLIE KANNER

Ellie Kanner has worked in the entertainment industry as a talent agent, casting director, producer, writer and director.

After casting over 30 pilots including, Friends and Sex and the City, Ellie transitioned into directing. She’s directed episodes of television, short form series and independent films that all received worldwide distribution.

Ellie co-created a board game, The Game Plan Game, that helps preschoolers learn life skills which was developed alongside the creative project forums on Necker Island. She’s worked with Richard Branson on criminal justice and death penalty reform in the United States and co-wrote two books on auditioning.

Ellie is on the board of River LA, Plus Wonder, You Gotta Believe and recently joined The Donovan & Bank Foundation.

Ellie lives in Los Angeles and enjoys playing tennis, poker and spending time with her two sons.
