The Office of Strategic Services (OSS) had a number of training facilities located mostly in Maryland and Virginia. Two Recreational Demonstration Areas managed by the National Park Service were the first and the largest of these training camps. Catoctin Recreational Demonstration Area, now Catoctin Mountain Park, was chosen because it was remote, secluded, and heavily forested. Catoctin played a significant role in training Special Operations (SO), Secret Intelligence (SI) and Operational Groups (OG) personnel.

The Catoctin Mountain Cup is a private, invitation only tournament for our donors. It is an opportunity for our supports to spend time with the Nation's Special Operations Warriors at some of the best courses in America.
